Cornbread Dressing

2 boxes Jiffy Cornbread mix (or homemade equivalent), prepared
8 slices wheat bread
1 onion, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
3 teaspoon poultry seasoning
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 sticks butter, melted
2 cups chicken broth
optional: mix in dried cranberries and toasted pecans

Put cornbread and bread in food processor. How much you process depends on how fine you want your dressing. I like it a little chunky. Saute onions and celery in the butter.  Add to bread mixture in a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.  Place the dressing mix in a baking pan.  Bake at 350F. for 30-45 minutes.

Serve with turkey or chicken, gravy and cranberry sauce.
