2-3 pounds chicken, boneless, skinless, cut into strips or chunks
5 or 6 good sized broccoli florets
6 garlic cloves, minced
6 tablespoons brown sugar
1/2 cup sesame oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons grated ginger (optional)
a little olive oil
Put a little olive oil
and water in pan. Heat and cook the chicken until no longer pink on
medium high, stirring frequently. Drain if needed.
Whisk together brown sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, and ginger.
Add sauce and broccoli
florets and lower temp to medium. Cover. Stir occasionally. When the
broccoli appears to be tender, but not mushy, it is done.
Serve over rice.
